Full Time (or part time) Vet Required

A veterinarian (new & recent graduates welcome to apply) is required to join 2 other vets at a new, purpose-built, small animal practice where 24/7 support and growth from a veterinary and personal perspective are priorities. We are in a rapidly growing area of Melbourne's north west, and are 30 minutes from Docklands and at the foot of the beautiful Macedon Ranges.

This is a privately owned practice with a warm and friendly team. We have a long induction period for new staff and pride ourselves on providing as much hands on support and guidance for new employees as is required to integrate them into our practice.

As a team, we make decisions collaboratively regarding our standards of care and the direction of the practice, at regular, weekly meetings. We also work hard to build strong relationships between staff. To this end, we organise social activities outside of work and schedule in breaks to sit down together during the day.

We place great emphasis on personal & professional development - we want you to advance your skills and will actively support this so that we can maintain the highest of standards within the practice. We have a 3-4 day per week roster, there is no after hours work and we are closed Sundays and public holidays.

Our support staff are experienced and trained to a high level, so that they make the vet's job easier, and allow us to dedicate ourselves to being the patient's advocate. Our clients appreciate our passion and thoroughness, and we aren't afraid of being unique in our approach.

We have lots of toys (ultrasound, DR body and dental x-ray units, in house blood analyser etc), and if you bring a skill, or want to develop a skill that benefits the practice and our clients, we will support this as well.
